Milas - Bodrum Airport (252) 523 01 01
Officially named the Milas-Bodrum Airport (airport code: BXN), everybody calls it simply Bodrum Airport.
 The modern airport, built during the late 1990s, is 36 km (21 miles) northeast of Bodrum, 16 km (10 miles) south of Milas, just north of the Güllük intersection (Map)
The International Terminal (Dis Hatlar) and Domestic Terminal (Iç Hatlar) are about 1 km apart, separated by grassy fields. It's about a 15-minute walk across the fields between the terminals, longer if you walk on the roads.
Unless you are part of an organized tour being met by a bus or minibus, you'll probably have to take an expensive airport taxi. Find other travelers with whom to split the cost.
Buses and minibuses run frequently along the highway 2 km (1.25 miles) east of the International terminal, but you'll have to walk to get to the highway.
To insure that airport taxis have a lock on the airport transportation market at Milas-Bodrum Airport, vehicles picking up passengers at the airport must be licensed tourism minivans or buses.
In other words, your hotel can't just send a car to pick you up! It's got to be a tourism-licensed vehicle.
Unfortunately, this means that getting to and from Milas-Bodrum Airport can be relatively expensive.
See the rate sign to the right for taxi fares. From the airport to Bodrum is €40, US$50, UK£30, for example. (They don't even give the fare in YTL.)
Lots of buses and minibuses pass by on the Milas-Bodrum highway 2 km (1.25 miles) east of the International terminal, but a taxi won't agree to take you only as far as the highway.
